STAFF at Boots in The Borough raised money for Macmillan Cancer Support by pedalling the afternoon away.
Meanwhile their regional and area manager abseiled down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, raising more than £1,000 for Macmillan.
Sam Sirrelly, assistant manager, said: “Macmillan is one of our partners. It’s all about how we can help our customers feel better with themselves.
“Our pharmacists are also trained in having those types conversations and making sure that people’s medication are correct and checking how they are feeling with it”
“We all go on training to learn these skills, which I think is a really great thing, I am very lucky – we are always learning new things.
“I think the Farnham area as a whole is a caring one. This store is one of the best I have worked in and I have worked in many different Boots stores, but coming here I find that customers get really involved”
