A MAN is recovering from life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Lindford.

The 47-year-old Lindford resident was admitted to hospital following the incident on November 15. He was walking along the B3002 Lindford Road when he collided with a blue Vauxhall Corsa at around 9.20pm.

Emergency services were called to the scene and took the injured man to St George's Hospital, Tooting, in a critical condition.

The male driver, a 19 year old from Bordon, sustained no injuries. No charges have been pressed. The road was closed for several hours while investigations were carried out.
