CONCERNS for the safety of pedestrians as they walk along the pavement at the corner of Shepherds Hill and Haslemere High Street have been highlighted this week.
William French, who has run the antique dealers Objets D'Arts on the corner for 24 years, described it as "an accident waiting to happen", adding that wheelchairs and mothers with pushchairs could not get past the shop without going into the road.
