Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident at Crossway Road, Grayshott, on the Hampshire border, last week, in which an 80-year-old man died.

Police believe Alan Dobbin, from Grayshott, was getting into his blue Mazda when he fell and hit his head.

The incident happened at 11.45am on Thursday, April 26.

Mr Dobbin was taken to Royal Surrey Hospital, Guildford, where he died in the early hours on Friday.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident or saw Mr Dobbin shortly before.
