A PENSIONER who lives just yards from Heath End Secondary School is to stand trial next year accused of a number of indecent assault and gross indecency charges.

Derek Riley, 73, of Hale Reeds, appeared at Guildford Crown Court on Tuesday and entered no pleas to 10 counts of indecent assault on a female, as well as two further charges of gross indecency on a girl aged under 14.

He is next to due appear in court on Friday, November 4, for a case management hearing, ahead of a full trial starting on June 26 next year.
