PENSIONERS and pupils in a village north of Petersfield could be forced to pay the price to keep their bus service.
That's the fear of Liss Parish Council following a review into the funding of bus routes across their patch.
They have urged residents and users to take part in a consultation or risk losing the services they depend on.
The future of five routes around Petersfield and Liss is in doubt because Hampshire County Council is reviewing its subsidies.
They are looking to cut £1.5m from the passenger transport budget as part of a greater bid to save millions.
