THE clubhouse will be rocking this weekend to the sound of rock and blues from the David Sinclair Four.
The London-based band starts its innings at Odiham and Greywell Cricket Club tomorrow, from 8pm.
The group is on tour after releasing its latest album ‘4’, which got rave reviews last year after a launch gig at the London club, The Borderline. The album features songs written by David Sinclair, with special guests, Paul Jones, Maxi Priest and Scottish vocalist Lorna Reid.
David Sinclair Four have come out to bat with many well–known players over the years, including Warner Hodges, Wilko Johnson, The Bluefields, Samantha Fish, Marcus Bonfanti, Willie Nile, Graham Bonnet, Mick Ralphs Blues Band and Ian Prowse.
David Sinclair Four has also headlined the Friday night line-up of the North Wales Blues & Soul Festival for the last two years, and rocked festival stages from Latitude to Cornbury and from Bluesfest in Gravesend to Swn Festival in Cardiff.
Their new album is available on Spotify, but they will be playing live just around the corner at what promises to be the cricket club’s grooviest match of the season.
