CHINESE New Year was celebrated at South Farnham School when Year 4 students took to the stage.

With costumes and props at the ready, pupils in class 4N performed a Chinese New Year assembly on the morning of February 7. The assembly was led by one of the school’s parents Mr Luc, who shared with the upper school his personal experience of these celebrations.

South Farnham School’s Parents Friends Association also organised a Chinese-themed quiz night on Friday, February 1, to further celebrate the start of the Year of the Pig.

It was hailed as being “highly successful”, despite the snow.
