PETERSFIELD must re-market itself as a specialist shopping town to beat competition from neighbouring centres, it was claimed this week.

Rams Walk centre manager Maggi Bennett was speaking at a meeting of East Hampshire District Council's central area community committee which was discussing ways of boosting the district's economy.
