The Petersfield Spring Festival saw big crowds gather under the sun during the bank holiday weekend, dancing to headliners Black Cherry Jam, The Fabulous Fun Band and The Bluegrass Cover Boys.

The festival also saw a range of performances from the south coast’s premier Britpop covers band Brit Pop Revolution, indie rock band Aztec Flowers, contemporary folk artist Hannah Scott, singing and dancing from Italia Conti as well as many more performances.

Festival-goers also enjoyed supporting small businesses and charities – with market stalls selling special gifts or treats with an array of hand-crafted items from jewellery to ceramics as well as aromatic candles.

Crowds were also able to indulge in a variety of cuisines such as freshly-made sushi, seafood paella as well as a few sweet treats including brownies and macarons.

Pimm’s was served throughout, adding to the ‘summer’s here’ vibe.

Shows like Punch and Judy and fun activities including crazy golf, riding a vintage dobbie horse as well as the chance to have photos taken with their favourite princesses, entertained the children.

The community was also able to visit the pop-up Alitex greenhouse for an immersive gardening experience and learn more about Petersfield in Bloom 2023.
