CHURCHER'S Junior School was transported back to biblical times by class three to tell the story of Crikey, Moses! – a fantastic musical production about Pharaoh, the bullrushes, the burning bush, and a whole lot more.

The children were treated to outstanding applause by the school and parents for their spectacular singing, dancing and acting.

Thomas Wild was a formidable Pharaoh, Ben Williams and Jamie Allen led the slaves out of Egypt – as Moses and Aaron – while Annabelle Jenkins as the princess sang with great emotion.

Class teacher Mrs Munro said: "The Midwives – Kirsty Foreman and Molly Steele – brought humour and fun to the performance. Congratulations to all children involved, we were so proud of you all."
