THE Pickwick Cafe in Hindhead helped swell the Macmillan Coffee morning national total, boosted by the donation of a star prize to its raffle by Barons Hindhead of a weekend with the latest BMW convertible.

“It’s the second year we have supported Macmillan’s world’s biggest coffee morning ,” owner Beverley Mallandaine said. “A very good friend died of cancer and was so well looked after by Macmillan.

“We just wanted to put something back in.”
