A PETERSFIELD man who helped fugitive tycoon Asil Nadir escape to Cyprus almost 20 years ago, following the spectacular fall of Polly Peck, says he "still wants to put the record straight".

Former pilot Peter Dimond, 68, has broken his silence and spoken exclusively to the Petersfield Herald this week from his home in the town, surrounded by several weighty tomes of copious notes and other written material and books he has amassed over the years relating to the case and his part in it.
