FOLLOWING various proposals surrounding the future of Pinewood Village Hall, Whitehill Town Council has confirmed it will be given an update by East Hampshire District Council.

Andy Tree, town council leader, said: “It is important that as the grassroots elected representatives of residents we are consulted early on regarding the proposals, at the same time as residents and businesses are being asked for their feedback.”

He added the town council will be “consulted by law” over a planning application.
