THE Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Company is inviting families to enjoy an afternoon of storytelling, pirate treasure hunting and crafts this Saturday at the Hogmoor Inclosure in Bordon.

According to the Regeneration Company, which is developing Prince Philip Barracks, where the Hogmoor Inclosure will be a Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace site for some of the occupants of the 3,350 new homes being built in the town: “Don your best pirate or princess fancy dress and join DD Storyteller, along with her crew of sea creatures, to find Polly’s pieces of eight, which are hidden along a woodland trail through the Inclosure.

“You will be able to make your own treasure chest with jewels found on the treasure hunt and enjoy some other pirate themed colouring and craft.”

The event takes place between 1pm and 3pm. The meeting place is the tank-crossing site at the Hogmoor Inclosure.

Naomi Metcalfe, community development officer at the Regeneration Company, said: “We are lucky to have such great open spaces in Whitehill and Bordon.

“Everyone who attends will have a great time.”
