PLANS for a new housing development on the former Happy Eater restaurant site in Hindhead will include changes to the existing A3/A287 junction to improve traffic flow at the notorious bottleneck.

An outline planning application for the development of the four-and-a-half acre site, located on the corner of the Hindhead crossroads, will be submitted to Waverley Borough Council by Fairview New Homes in July.
