A BP petrol station proposed for the Farnham bypass has been turned down by Waverley councillors for the second time - but the giant oil company's hopes remain alive with one round of the planning process still to come.

Members of Waverley's western area planning sub committee voted 11-to-2 against the 24-pump station.
