FARNHAM Town FC has submitted a fresh application to ratify a temporary car parking area built without planning consent at the Memorial Ground in West Street last summer.

Waverley, which is both the club’s local planning authority and landlord, has already invested £122,536.80 towards the club’s new changing rooms at the Memorial Ground and £10,000 towards its car park.

This came about after Waverley agreed to permanently relocate the club’s changing and parking facilities from the adjoining Memorial Hall, as part of the hall’s ongoing transformation into a health and wellbeing centre.

The club’s latest application can be viewed online at www.waverley.gov.uk/planning by searching for reference WA/2017/0522. The deadline for public comments is tomorrow (Friday).
