THE Farnham Interest Group (FIG) has extended a deadline for donations towards the costs of fighting a judicial review against the Brightwells regeneration scheme.

It had hoped to hear back from a High Court judge whether or not there are grounds to proceed with the legal challenge by the end of July, and so set an original target of raising the estimated £85,000 needed to support the challenge by Monday, August 1.

However, with FIG still awaiting the judge’s response, this deadline has now been extended to August 31.
