FOXBRIDGE Golf Club in Plaistow hosted Haslemere Museum’s annual fundraising golf event for the fifth year running.

Teams of four players competed for the Haslemere Museum Golf Trophy, in support of a local institution that has served the town for over 125 years. The event was sponsored by estate agent Taylor Hill and Bond and raffle prizes were donated by the host club and Roxtons clothing shop.

A spokesman for the museum said: “We are very grateful to all the golfers who supported the fundraising day and to Foxbridge for its excellent hospitality.

“The money raised from the event will go towards the Museum in a Million Appeal to create an endowment fund enabling Haslemere Museum to be sustainable for future generations.”
