THE tragic car crash last week at Kingsley Green, in which a teenage girl was killed, has prompted calls for lower speed limits and implementation of traffic calming measures along the A286.
Residents of Midhurst Road are calling for traffic calming strips to be painted across the road on the approach to the stretch between Haslemere and Kingsley Green.
They also want signs warning motorists of the dangerous blind double-bend on the A286 between Bell Vale and Fernden Lane, following the head-on collision last week in which Amy Brownrigg (17), died.
A full version of this story can be found in the Haslemere Herald of November 5.
