COMMUNITIES around East Hampshire will continue to lose their pubs if MPs don't support a motion to reform the industry.

That's the verdict of a Petersfield couple whose bitter dispute with a pub company led to a new dawn for a village hostelry.

Stephen and Angie Ryan have joined a campaign to reduce the stranglehold that the likes of Enterprise Inns and Punch Taverns have on the trade.

One of the biggest aims of the 'Fair Deal For Your Local' campaign is to prevent the large pub comapnies from charging unreasonably high rents.
