COFFEE lovers will be pleased to see the return of The Roasted Bean Company and its mouth-watering coffee made from responsibly grown green coffee beans, at this month’s Farnham farmers’ market.
Farnham Town Council will be giving a warm welcome to new stallholders Black Cat Brewery and its locally distilled gin and the Wholesome Bakery which will be selling spelt cakes, loaves and vegan carrot cake.
Jill Hargreaves, the town council’s lead member for tourism and events, said: “One of the most appealing things about the farmers’ markets is that there is always something new to try.
“By eating with the seasons you can add variety to your diet. At this month’s market there will be a good mix of seasonal food and locally produced drink and items such as pickles, sauces, baked goods, jam and muesli.
“The stallholders are extremely knowledgeable and are happy to talk to customers about their products.”
As well as being able to buy food to take home, shoppers can enjoy live music from Kai Jensen and light refreshments from the charity tea tent, which will be hosted by Frensham Guides.
The market will be held on Sunday, February 26, from 10am to 1.30pm in the Central car park. For more information visit www.farnham.gov.uk/farmersmarket.
