FOR the fifth year running, Weydon School in Farnham presented its popular dance show, with two sell-out performances.
The evening featured more than 140 Weydon School students who put on an awe-inspiring spectacle of dance moves, with special performances from students at St Peter’s Primary School.
The students put on performances including ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, street and tap. Weydon collaborated with year five students from St Peter’s who performed to ‘We’re All In This Together’.
The year 11 boys put on an enthusiastic and polished performance to a Grease mega mix.

There was a range of ages, abilities and style but they all came together through dance.
Naomi Richards, who teaches dance at Weydon, said: “I am so proud of all the students who took part. This year, our teaching staff also put on a great performance and revealed many hidden talents.
“The rehearsals and hard work that went into this year’s show was evident as the performances were amazing. I would like to thank all the students and staff involved and thank everyone who came to watch the performances.”
Approximately £2,000 was raised going towards the year 11 prom and towards the development of dance within the PE curriculum area.
