SURREY Police is appealing for help in finding a 62-year-old man who was last seen on Monday night (January 27) in Farnham.

Mark Maclay was last seen around 9pm near the Lidl supermarket in Dogflud Way. There have been no sightings and no one has heard from him since that time, although it is believed he might have visited the area by the river near Farnham Maltings.

He is vulnerable and his family are extremely concerned for his welfare.

Mark is described as white, around 6ft tall, well-built and balding with white hair. He was wearing a green jacket, jeans and a beige baseball cap and had a backpack with him.

Reports online suggest there was a strong police presence in Red Lion Lane, opposite the Maltings, on Tuesday night - as well as a police helicopter hovering over the area.
