SURREY Police are appealing for more information about a blue Peugeot estate allegedly involved in a collision in Wey Hill, Haslemere, which left a man with serious injuries.
A male pedestrian, in his 50s, was outside a restaurant at 8.40pm, last Thursday, when the collision with the Peugeot is said to have happened.
He was taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting, London, with serious, but non life-threatening injuries.
Any witnesses who saw a collision the car being driven before or after the incident are asked to call 101.
• A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
He was released on bail.
