POLICE are appealing for information after an antique door knocker was stolen in Bordon.

The brass knocker was taken from the front door of a house between 5.30pm on November 3 and 3.30pm on November 4.

It is described as eight to 10 inches high, eight inches wide, with an upside down new moon at the top, a round knocker in the centre and a sheath of corn at the bottom.

The item, more than 100 years old, has sentimental value because it belonged to a relative of the owner.
