WHITEHILL Police officers have launched an urgent appeal after a man tried to force a young woman into the woods behind Champney Close, Whitehill.
The attack on the 24-year-old woman took place on Friday, January 26, at around 10-40 am. She was on her way home after taking her dog for a walk and a man appeared from nowhere. Anyone with information should contact Dc Steve Legg at Alton CID on 0845 045 4545.
