SURREY Police Authority has this week outlined plans to further streamline the service by cutting 144 jobs and reducing the number of divisions in the county from four to three.
Blaming the cuts on poor Government funding leading to a "substantial gap" in funds, the authority announced the changes would come into effect this year at their annual budget meeting on Monday.
