A POLICE motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a collision while responding to an incident on the A31 near Alton on Monday.
The officer, in his 40s, was on a marked BMW heading southbound on the A31 between Chawton and Four Marks at 1.55pm when he collided with a yellow Audi S3. He was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital where he is critical but stable.
The Audi driver, a 40-year-old man from Four Marks, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving.
