After a busy post-pandemic year, staff at Flint House Police Rehabilitation Centre would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Flint House is a charity, entirely funded by donations from those in the police service and their families.

It is with these generous donations that more than 3,200 serving and retired police officers, including from Hampshire Constabulary, are helped each year, providing physical rehabilitation and mental health support.

Flint House chair of trustees Jon Carter-Lang said: "Police officers are the bravest of the brave, the heroes that run towards danger - and it is our privilege to offer them world class physical and mental health support when it is needed.

"2022 has been another busy year for Flint House as we've become full and bustling once again post the pandemic.

“We've also welcomed a new deal for retired officers which has become popular.

"I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the brilliant staff at Flint House as well as our incredible physios, rehab therapists, nurses and mental health practitioners for all their work.

“Those coming through the doors at Flint House - and accessing our services remotely - know how brilliant they are!

"New Year is no holiday for many police officers, and if you are working please stay safe and know you are appreciated.

"Here's to a great 2023."
