A SMALL decrease in the number of emergency 999 calls answered within target time has been dismissed as "statistically insignificant" by Surrey Police.
A report by the Audit Commission identified that of all calls received between 1997/98 and 1998/99 the amount answered within the traget 15 seconds dropped by one per cent.
