DETECTIVES in East Hampshire are appealing for information following an arson which caused severe damage to a farm in Bordon on Sunday, June 17. At around 5.40am an emergency call was made to the fire department after a fire broke out at Sandhill Farm in Picketts Hill, Bordon. One storage unit was completely destroyed by fire, but crews from Bordon and Grayshott were able to get the blaze under control and it was finally extinguished around 7.20am. The search is now on for information with regards to the initial cause of the blaze. Detective constable John McCaig said: "I would like to appeal to anyone who has any information about how this fire might have started. "I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to get in touch with us at the earliest opportunity, and help us find the person or people responsible."
