POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two teenage boys were attacked as they were walking home in Alton.

The boys, one aged 16 the other 17, were walking through the alleyways linking Nursery Road, Park Close Road, and Lansdowne Road between 8.50pm and 9.15pm last Friday when they were set upon by a group of five or six people. The victims were repeatedly punched in the face before the group made off.
