HAMPSHIRE Police’s Country Watch team is appealling for information following a poaching incident in the village of Lower Wield, near Medstead.

The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between 11pm last Saturday and 9am on Sunday and involved a vehicle.

Police said the vehicle lost its number plate while accessing to the land and it has been traced back to a silver Honda CR-V, with registration starting Y547. This number has previously been circulated in connection with similar incidents.

The vehicle has no current keeper and is shown in trade.
