POLICE are appealing for information following a series of hoax calls made to emergency services – one alleging that people were trapped in a fire and another that a woman had been killed.
The most recent hoax call was made on Sunday to Surrey Fire and Rescue Service at around 3.30pm, claiming that a fire had broken out in the kitchen at an house in Wrecclesham.
The person who took the call said he could hear a fire alarm in the background, but when fire crews rushed to the scene there was no fire.
