FARNHAM police station will be marketed for sale as early as next month, Surrey Police Authority has confirmed.

An alternative base for Farnham's neighbourhood policing team has not yet been sought as the police station will remain in use until after the Olympics.

However, options for an alternative will now be investigated and the police authority has hinted a replacement police post could be provided within the new development.
