POLICE officers were out in force in Farnham last Friday as part of a pro-active drugs operation in partnership with the town's Pubwatch scheme.

The action, which focused on licensed premises, resulted in more than 20 people being searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act. A street caution and a street warning were issued after small quantities of cannabis were seized.
