SUPERINTENDENT for Hampshire Constabulary Central division Dennis Dawes has given a firm assurance that the force will do all it can to re-establish its relationship with Neighbourhood Watch schemes in the Alton area.
The pledge came during a meeting of the East Hampshire Police and Community Liaison Group in Alton on Tuesday when police fielded a barrage of questions and accusations from local Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinators.
