PHASE two of dredging work at Hollybrook Pond in Bordon got under way on Monday and will continue until September 15.
It is the latest in a series of projects to improve the pond and leave it in a “more manageable condition”.
Residents living in the Hollybrook Park area of the town have been warned of potential disruption.
The first phase of dredging and work to manage the invasive weed species crassula helmsii was completed during the spring of 2016.
Limited shrub clearance will also be carried out at the south-western end of the pond.
The project is being funded from contributions made by developers to Whitehill town and East Hampshire district councils and earmarked for environmental improvements.
