The cash has been splashed at the site of a former open-air swimming pool in Farnham.
Paths around Victoria Garden off South Street have been upgraded thanks to funding from supporters and town organisations.
The surfaces of the paths were “looking their age” so they’ve been replaced with more durable resin-bound chippings in the same colour.
The site is owned by Farnham Town Council but is managed by The Farnham Swimming Baths Trust and volunteers from the Friends of the Victoria Garden.
David Munro, treasurer of the Trust, said: “The work wasn’t cheap but it will last for ages and looks great.”
Tireless fundraising from the Friends covered most of the cost but FTC and the Farnham Institute Charity also “chipped in”.
