THERE will be shopping and live music in Farnham on Sunday, December 13, when the popular Christmas market returns to the town centre and the Mercure Bush Hotel.
Between 10am and 4pm, more than 100 stalls will line Castle Street selling gifts, Christmas decorations, clothing, jewellery and freshly cooked food. A live Nativity and Father Christmas will be at The Bush Hotel.
Entry is free and all town centre car parks will remain open (free of charge on Sundays). Castle Street will be closed for this event between junctions with The Borough and Park Row and parking is suspended during this time.
Alongside the Christmas market, the regular farmers’ market will also be taking place in Central car park. From 10am to 3.30pm shoppers will be able to buy a wide range of fresh local produce direct from the producer.
The Christmas market has been sponsored by Specsavers, Kidd Rapinet and Trueman & Grundy. Further information about the market can be found online at www.farnham.gov.uk/christmas.
