THE popular Tilford Environmental Playscheme is entering its 20th year and will be running for two weeks from Monday, July 25. to Friday, August 5. at the Tilford Institute near Farnham.

The not-for-profit playscheme, run by a team of experienced playworkers and organised by local mums, aims to provide a fun, safe and stimulating experience for children with forest and wildlife adventures, visiting specialists, sports activities and science and craft sessions.

Children are invited to take part in one of the playscheme’s sell-out ranger days with Surrey Wildlife Trust, be spectacularly scientific with the team from Sublime Science or unleash their inner rock star with the Rock and Pop Foundation.

Budding paleontologists will love digging for dinosaur bones on the dinosaur day or come along and let your creative juices flow at the superhero themed session.

The scheme is open to children aged between five and 10 years, costing £25 for a full day (£28 for ranger days) and £13 for half a day. Places can be booked online from Saturday, May 14. Visit  www.tilfordplayscheme.org for more information.
