ANOTHER five Bordon post boxes have been raided in the last week, taking the total up to nine.
In the latest incidents, which happened at the end of last week, two post boxes in Conde Way, one at the Forest Community Centre, one in High Street and one in Firgrove Road were broken into.
The mail, which included letters and parcels, was opened and left strewn across the ground.
Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the thefts.
Looters had already raided post boxes in four separate locations across the town. The first raid took place overnight on Thursday, April 17, at Bordon Post Office. This was followed four days later by thefts from post boxes in Firgrove Road, Washford Lane and another in the area. Some of the mail has been recovered and returned to the post office.
Letters and parcels which have not been opened are forwarded straight on, but those that have been opened need to be matched up by staff before they are resealed and sent on.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious when posting letters or passing the locations targeted should contact Whitehill Police Station on 0845 045 45 45.
Anyone who believes that their mail has been damaged before they receive it should contact the Royal Mail customer services department on 08457 740740.
