YOUNGSTERS at Greatham Village Nursery have been busy this week, making cards and presents for Mothering Sunday.
And some lucky mums are in for a treat as a lot of hard work and thought has gone into making the special gifts.
The Bumble Bee class, of two and three year olds, were proud of their pots and cards while sunflower and Marie Curie pictures were created by the Ladybird class of three and four year olds.
The nursery has been fundraising for the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity.
Nursery owner Elaine Chiverton said: "The children planted daffodils last October and have watched them grow over the winter.
"During February, they decorated pot covers and gave them to their parents for a donation. We raised more than £200.
"We are proud that our parents gave so generously during these hard times but everyone feels it is a worthy cause."
