NAOMI House children's hospice enjoyed a royal visit by HRH The Duchess of Cambridge on Monday.

To coincide with Children's Hospice Week, the visit highlighted the work of Naomi House, which never closes, delivering a range of services to help relieve families from the day-to-day pressures of looking after a child or young person with a life-limiting condition.

Based at Sutton Scotney, near Winchester, Naomi House also serves the Alton area. On arrival the Duchess was presented with a bouquet of flowers by eight-year-old Sally Evans, who has spinal muscular atrophy. She was then taken on a tour of the hospice facilities, including the hydrotherapy pool and the end-of-life suite, where she met children and families who are cared for by Naomi House.
