A HEAVILY pregnant woman from Farnham was among thousands of commuters left stranded on the Waterloo to Alton line last Thursday.

The problems began when thieves tried to steal cable at a sub-station in the Farnborough area, compounding existing problems on the network and resulting in massive delays.
