A SERIOUS flouting of planning laws and harm being caused to the countryside on the outskirts of South Harting has brought prompt action after the arrival last week of two families of travellers.

The action by Chichester District Council comes after a travellers were believed to have moved onto land bewteen South Harting and Nyewood, which they are previously thought to have bought.
