BORDON has been given a massive £10m Government boost, because of its eco-town status, which means there can be an immediate start to exciting projects, such as free broadband Internet access and improved "green infrastructure".
The money will be used, as part of a national pilot scheme, to increase animal and plant life in the town, developing it into a new green space and biodiversity resource to attract visitors away from the Special Protection Areas and Special Areas of Conservation that surround it.
