PETERSFIELD Station has been promised a massive £2.6million package of improvements by Stagecoach, the operators of South West Trains.

Hundreds of commuters in the town are also being told they can look forward to millions of pounds being invested in better trains, more seats on longer trains and an improved service together with a network of bus links to nearby villages.
